we’ve always had the keys
you and i we’re turning them now, turning to be
well the tales of been dark and long
for the the makers of the veils
we brought parts of ourselves
just to sail on that shadow until
and now here, heres our chance
our chance to run , our chance to see
the constant of our truths
got us through those lock down years
we’d catch beauty in glimpses
and laughter in the tears
i know when i was clamped down in the hole
you’d come to me, i could feel you by my side
and you go out, out into the great unknown
i’d sing you that song to take you on that ride
chorus
the freedom in your eyes loves
it move to your lips, the freedom moves us
and the trembling worlds ,oh ya they tremble
when we kiss kiss kiss
so heres where we start, and this where we end
but forever, forever my love the feeling will live with in

I knew Bob before he was 'Slim'. Then lost touch. Always followed him musically from Buzz Barker and the Atomic Bums to his solo work. I was never much into listening to live music at First Ave or bars so I didn't really get to watch him play and sing. I did see him open for Roseanne Cash once. Take care Bob! clayb
